What happens when a sport's governing body has reached a crossroads with its broadcast strategy and needs a solution to grow sailing’s broadcast presence globally across television, digital and social?
We responded to the challenge in three separate ways to ensure maximum visibility and impact for the sport across platforms. At the heart of this was the creation of an official World Sailing monthly television series supported by a dedicated YouTube Channel.
We then put in place an Olympic sailing production and distribution strategy - for both the Hempel World Cup Sailing Series and World Sailing Championships - embracing both live programming and highlights shows. Finally, we devised a news strategy to amplify our broadcast output and ensure key events made an instant impact across television, digital and social.
World Sailing were provided with an amplification strategy that enabled them to punch above their weight across all platforms which has grown interest and engagement with the sport in both traditional and new markets.
