THE BRIEF

Henley Royal Regatta were keen to leverage their media assets and consolidate their broadcast, press and social activities under one umbrella. Sunset+Vine has been the regatta’s broadcast partner since 2015. We now also manage the media operation, run the press office and provide social and digital strategy and delivery.

THE RESULT

The result has been nearly 50 hours of live broadcast each year with more than half a million YouTube viewers, over 150 journalists accredited in the media centre and 1.3m Instagram views in the month of the event.

THE HOW

Sunset+Vine has collaborated with Henley to create an imaginative camera plan including floating jib, heavy lift drone, tracking catamaran and waterborne Cineflex to provide coverage of the racing that has been acclaimed right across the rowing world. We provide live coverage of every single race across the six days of the Regatta.

Meanwhile our social team devises a bespoke digital strategy each year and delivers the content and posts to support that strategy before moving into event mode and managing the channels on site.

And the Media Partnerships team handles press relations, promotes the Regatta across all media manages the press office on site at the event.
