When a brand-new T20 cricket league launched in the United Arab Emirates in 2023, the pressure was on. The DP World International League T20 aimed to join the world’s elite franchise leagues - six teams, global superstars, and iconic venues in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. But world-class cricket deserves world-class coverage. Sunset+Vine shared the organiser's ambitious vision for the new league.
Sunset+Vine’s high-energy, multi-language coverage helped the DP World ILT20 carve its place in the crowded world of T20 cricket.
Our immersive production brought the action to fans worldwide, while our focus on innovation - from drone shots to live expert demos - set it apart.
In just two seasons, the DP World ILT20 has become a recognisable name in franchise cricket, and our broadcast expertise has helped accelerate its rise. We didn’t just broadcast a cricket match. We broadcast a spectacle.
Sunset+Vine brought decades of cricket expertise to the DP World ILT20. Our approach was clear: treat it like a world-class event. We delivered a 32-camera setup across all 34 matches. BuggyCam tearing down the sidelines, Spidercam whizzing overhead and a drone capturing it all from above. Every match became a spectacle.
We broke new ground, redefining global cricket broadcasts with three simultaneous commentary teams. One match, three languages, all perfectly synchronised within a single broadcast.
The innovations continued into Season 2. We introduced cameras in the third umpire’s room, bringing fans closer to the big decisions. Our ex-player analysts took to ‘The Hitting Zone,’ showcasing T20 skills and techniques live—turning analysis into action.
