Channel 5 and Wasserman Boxing announced an exclusive multi-event deal for 2022 allowing the British public to watch some of the biggest names and brightest prospects in British boxing on terrestrial television in a series of free-to-air fight nights with engaging and entertaining coverage.

The Result

The result has been high-end coverage of six live fight nights including three British title fights and continued growth in viewing figures as the Channel 5 boxing brand continues to grow.

The How

Assembling one of boxing’s most experienced production teams Sunset+Vine has approached every fight with the aim of bringing the Channel 5 boxing fan closer to the action than they have ever been with 8-camera fight coverage at every event and including ‘corner’ sound between rounds to really give the viewer the sense of immersion in the contest.

The coverage is brought to life by a hand-picked presentation and commentary team who have been able to entertain the most ardent fan and educate newcomers, all attracted by the new Channel 5 boxing free-to-air coverage.
